2024 Yard Sign Campaign

THANK YOU to everyone who supported our 2024 yard sign campaign! We distributed 400 signs to homes and businesses across the Great Lakes Bay Region this year.

Mount Pleasant Pride Festival

The next evolution of our always expanding Pop Up Pride in the Park program that celebrated its third year in June 2024!

Join us in celebrating, uplifting, and advocating for our regional 2SLGBTQIA+ community at the Mount Pleasant Pride Festival at Broadway Park in Mount Pleasant. We’re excited to welcome food trucks, a Two-Spirit presentation, local 2SLGBTQIA+ vendors, and community resources!

Great Lakes Loons Pride Night

Join us as the Loons, Great Lakes Bay Pride, and MLB use the game of baseball to bring communities together and proactively engage and embrace the LGBTQ+ community with a focus on creating an environment where everyone feels welcome.

Pride Communion Service

Trinity Episcopal Church in collaboration with St. Alban’s Episcopal Church are again providing a communion service during Pride Month. We desire to provide a safe and welcoming place for our LGBTQ+ siblings to experience God’s deep, abiding, and abundant love as well as celebrate how we are each created perfectly in God’s image.

Our service will include hymns, readings from the Bible, a sermon, prayers, music provided by Great Lakes Bay Pride’s Harmony Diversity Choir, communion and/or a personal blessing, a blessing over all, and dismissal.

Pride Month Tea Dance

Great Lakes Bay Pride and Drydock Beer Garden are teaming up to host a “pool party without the pool” Tea Dance featuring DJ Club Kid!

Pride Month Tea Dance is for 18+ years old (21+ will get a wrist band). A cash bar will be available. Tickets are free; please register in advance.

Great Lakes Bay Pride Festival

Our welcoming and inclusive festival brings together the LGBTQ+ community, allies, friends, and families from across the Great Lakes Bay Region and surrounding areas. Attendees can enjoy a variety of retail vendors, community resource partners, live entertainment, a health screening area, and a children’s activity area.

The Great Lakes Bay Pride Festival is a family-friendly, outdoor event, and is free for all to attend! Our original date (June 22) was canceled due to severe weather concerns in the Bay City area. We have officially rescheduled the festival to take place on Saturday, August 17, at Wenonah Park.

After Party Drag Show

Grab your besties and join us after the Great Lakes Bay Pride Festival for a magical night of glitz and glamour at the After Party Drag Show! The largest drag show in the region welcomes over 450 attendees and features Queens and Kings from our local area and across Michigan.

Saginaw Spirit Pride Night

The Saginaw Spirit, in partnership with Dow, GLAD (Dow’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and ally employee resource group), and Great Lakes Bay Pride, proudly present an annual event celebrating diversity and inclusion in the Great Lakes Bay Region. This event, held at the Dow Event Center, brings together community members and families for a night of live entertainment, delicious food, and fun activities. The Saginaw Spirit, Dow, GLAD, and Great Lakes Bay Pride are dedicated to creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all attendees. Join us for this annual celebration of diversity and inclusion in the Great Lakes Bay Region.

The next Saginaw Spirit Pride Night is tentatively scheduled for October 2024. Stay tuned for more details.
